RIVERBEND
Our mission is to create meaningful, elevated outdoor experiences that invite people to slow down, feel at home, and connect naturally.
OUR VISION
We bring together time outdoors and thoughtful hospitality in a way that feels seamless. Riverbend is designed to be welcoming and easy to enjoy—offering a place where you can unwind, connect, and experience the outdoors in your own way.
ABOUT US
Riverbend, located in Inman, SC, is rooted in our lifelong connection to the outdoors, family, and hospitality. We grew up hunting and fishing alongside our dad, Craig Sims, who made sure we experienced everything he loved about the outdoors. That foundation, paired with years spent around the hospitality world through his development of Woodfin Ridge Golf Course, shaped not only our skill set but our perspective on what meaningful experiences should feel like.
Riverbend began with our dad’s vision. He was deeply passionate about preserving land like this and protecting the traditions of hunting and the outdoors. He believed in creating a place that would bring people together through shared experiences. After his passing in July of 2025, we, alongside our mom Claudia, continue to carry that vision forward, with Riverbend remaining the heartbeat of his legacy.

WHAT RIVERBEND IS BECOMING REFLECTS EVERYTHING WE VALUE MOST.
It is a place where time slows down, where relationships come first, and where guests can reconnect with the outdoors in an intentional, meaningful way. Today, we continue to run Riverbend in our dad’s honor, carrying forward the vision he started and the standard he set. For us, it is more than a business. It is family, legacy, and something we hope will be enjoyed for generations to come.
MEET BRIAN SULLIVAN
General Manager of Hunting & Sporting
Meet Brian Sullivan, our general manager over all hunting and sporting here at Riverbend. We are BLESSED to have him!
Brian was born and raised here in the Upstate and has always had a passion for fishing, hunting, and the outdoors. At an early age, Brian developed a love for hunting and training with hound dogs, which lead him to train a number of dogs from hounds, English setters, pointers, and labs for himself and other friends along the way. After high school, Brian went to Bible college to pursue a career in helping the Church, and spent a number of years speaking in prisons to help spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. While doing this, Brian became a firefighter. His position as a firefighter actually opened the door Brian to get into the world of guiding in Upland and duck hunts. Brian helped establish Toney Creek plantation in Belton, SC, where he worked for 14 years in the hunting and guiding industry. We are so excited to have him with us here at Riverbend as he continues his lifelong love of hunting and the outdoors!
